Combining strength workouts with stretching, Lila is a yoga teacher creating a peaceful and uplifting programme. She continues, putting out her yoga mat, “You can have both flexibility and strength; you do not have to choose between them.”
Her routine starts with light stretches. “I always start with cat-cow poses and deep side stretches to loosen off,” Lila says. These motions equip her for strength work and enable her to feel connected to her body.
Lila then works with bodyweight exercises. She responds with a lighthearted smile, “Planks are my favourite.” “They in one action strengthen your core, arms, and shoulders.” Emphasising control and form, she also incorporates lunges and modified push-ups.
Lila’s seminars cover more ground than only physical advantages. “Moving with intention feels to your mind like mental therapy,” she explains. Lila creates an anthem for every session to keep herself driven. The today’s I am robust and competent.
Her programme finishes with a leisurely stretch. She holds the pigeon stance and forward folds while she deep breaths to release stress.
Lila’s advise for novices? “Start modest and pay attention to your body. Key is consistency; the outcomes will show up. She smiles warmly.
Lila’s programme will help you feel more flexible, stronger, and ready to tackle anything. She tells us “Your body takes care of you when you take care of it.”
