Emma is the sort of person that brings life to a room. Her vigour comes from somewhere. Morning exercises that leave her feeling strong and ready to face the day.
Emma grins as she ties her shoes, “I’m not a morning person,” she says, “but once I found how much better I feel after moving my body, I couldn’t turn around.”
Emma starts her programme with a vigourous warm-up. Stretching is not negotiable. It awakens my muscles and helps me avoid injuries,” she explains, shrugging her shoulders and inhaling deeply. Emphasising her neck, shoulders, and hips, she begins with ten minutes of mild stretching and mobility exercises.
Her daily exercise consists mostly on one type of activity. “I do HIIT occasionally for a rapid energy boost. Some days Emma says, it’s a gentle yoga flow. She usually runs a 20-minute bodyweight circuit including mountain climbers, push-ups, and squats. “I just need a small space and drive; I do not need fancy tools.”
Emma uses music as her inspiration. “The correct playlist may make a difficult exercise an interesting challenge. I always start with peppy tunes, she explains, grinning as she sets up her preferred music.
Emma cools later via deep breathing and thanksfulness. “It’s my time to think and create good daily intentions,” she says. “I’m happy I showed up for myself even on demanding mornings.”
Emma thinks there’s no need to complicate remaining active. The secret is to develop a habit from something you enjoy. Your levels of energy will soar!
